SCHOOL POLICIES

 

There are 44 lessons in total within one school year.  Some months may only have three lessons due to a public holiday.  In the event that there are 5 lessons in the month, the students are not required to pay extra.  Please refer to the school calendar for school holidays.

Registration Fee.    Registration fee is $35 and is a one-time, NON-REFUNDABLE FEE. If a student decides to take a break from the school, the grace period is 6 months before a re-registration fee of $25 is required.

Tuition.    Tuition is due on the last week of the month until the 7th of the following month, REGARDLESS of school holidays.  Failure to pay for 1 month will result in termination of lessons.

3 or 6 Month Payment.    You can save 5% off your tuition when you pay 3 or 6 months in advance.  The discount only applies if the months are consecutive. Months cannot be skipped and there are no refunds.

Late Fee.    A late fee is applied after the 7th of the month. During school holidays, the office is still open, but the times vary, so you may still make payments by mail or call in and pay with a credit card. This will help avoid late charges.

Returned Checks.    A $20 service fee is charged for returned checks.

Method of Payment.  You may pay by Check (payable to "Yamaha Music School"), Credit Card, Cash.  Cash envelopes are provided at our La Habra and Chino Hills.  You may call in for Credit Card payments.

ALL REGISTRATION AND TUITION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Make Up Lessons.    There are no make ups or reduction in tuition for missed lessons.  All missed classes are forfeited.  No refunds.  Please try to make it to your lesson if possible. 

Why We Choose to Have a "No Make Up" Policy

Termination of Lessons.    Please notify the school two weeks in advance for termination of lessons.  Failure to do so will result in paying two weeks' worth of tuition.
