Covid-19 Updates
This page is dedicated for the purpose to provide updates and information how Covid-19 has impacted Cerritos and Chino Hills Yamaha Music School. Cerritos and Chino Hills Yamaha Music School are currently in the process to open our school gradually, day by day, for in-person classes. Our school will continue to monitor state and county guidelines for safety. *Classes for in-person may vary due to state regulations.
PROTOCOL TO ENTER SCHOOL
Protocol is set to ensure safety to fellow classmates, parents, & staff
Protocol
1. Masks are required for entry
2. Check in with the office for a temperature check. If temperature is 100.4 degrees and above, entry will not be permitted.
3. Parents are allowed to sit in the lobby, however there is limited seating. The school suggests to wait outside or in the car during the duration of your child's class.

Contact your health provider to receive guidance
Return Back to School
Students who have tested positive may return after 14 days as symptoms have subsided and only after 24 hours without running a fever.
Please bring proof that student has tested negative prior to return.
Students who have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 may return to school after 14 days from the last contact with person who tested positive. If symptoms progress, the student should contact their health provider.
